Akses Remote Desktop Opensuse Server

Salah satu aspek yang paling powerful dari desktop openSUSE (dan desktop Linux pada umumnya) adalah kemampuan untuk mengakses desktop pribadi Anda sendiri dari jarak jauh (remote Desktop). Ini menyediakan dua fitur yang sangat berguna. Pertama Anda, atau orang lain untuk melihat dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan desktop Anda dari sistem komputer lain baik pada jaringan yang sama atau melalui internet.

Ini berguna jika kita perlu untuk bekerja pada komputer saat anda jauh dari meja anda , misal saat bepergian atau duduk di warung kopi. Hal ini juga berguna dalam situasi di mana rekan kerja atau dukungan TI teknisi membutuhkan akses ke desktop Anda untuk menyelesaikan masalah.

Ikuti langkahnya :

Klik Icon Computer , lalu pilih Control Center

Pada group System , pilih Remote Desktop

Centang Allow other user to control your Desktop

Pastikan , Firewall disable , atau jika firewall di enable pastikan allow service untuk VNC

IP server opensuse saya : 192.168.1.67

Require Password , silahkan input password access,klik close ,,server anda sudah bisa diakses via komputer lain ,

di komputer client misalkan dengan OS Windows XP atau 7 ,remote access dilakukan dengan applikasi VNC (virtual Network Computing) silahkan download

lalu install Aplikasi VNC

Pada server diisi IP server anda , 192.168.1.67 , isi password yg tadi dibuat kemudian klik ok

Hasilnya seperti Tampilan diatas .

Problem LDAP service pada Zimbra [Solved] terjadi pada server replikasi zimbra di kantor saya pada tanggal 5 November 2016 tiba-tiba error LDAP tidak mau startup service. service zimbra start Host test.domainku.com Starting ldap...Done. Failed. Failed to start slapd.
