Install EXO Community di Ubuntu sebagai aplikasi Intranet Sosial Media

Exo merupakan platform kolaborasi opensource untuk enterprise yang ditulis dengan Java Groovey dan JavaEE Web Container. Aplikasi ini memberikan intranet sosial seperti Facebook dan berkemampuan website seperti Wiki, Forum, Kalender, konten web dan kemampuan managemen dokument diantara stream aktivitas, jaringkan sosial dan workspaces.

saya install di Virtual dengan OS Ubuntu 12.04 server ,menggunakan versi community (ada juga versi enterprise) , adapun tahapan instalasinya sbb :

- update system dahulu

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre-headless wget unzip zip mc -y

cd /srv

wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/exo/files/Platform4.0/eXo-Platform-community-4.0.0.zip

 unzip eXo-Platform-community-4.0.0.zip

cd platform-community-4.0.0/

Jalankan exo

./start_eXo.sh

Tunggu sampai muncul pesan seperti dibawah ini :

| INFO  | Server startup in 596076 ms [org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina<main>]

Buka IP address Exo comunity , misal kan : 192.168.1.173:8080 (ip_address:8080)

Isi kan account admin seperti diatas
